*Access to Tapestry

As parents, the first day of handing over your child to the care of another can be an emotional time. As your child adjusts to experiences without you at school, most parents continue to want to share in these times. You will now have access to Tapestry which facilitates this, by enabling a personal learning journal to build over time. Please feel free to upload photographs or add any comments.                                                                                       *Your child will receive a Brayton email account too. Please complete the user agreement agreement form.

  July

*Pre-school visits ~ A member of Early Years will endeavour to visit your child in their pre-school. Your child will receive an ‘I met my teacher today’ certificate after this meeting has taken place and we will upload our notes to their Tapestry account.

*Optional Q & A phone calls for new starter parents. A relaxed and informal conversation at a prearranged time. Any questions are answered, concerns eased, and every effort is made to ensure both child and parent are happy to start school.

*Activities to do with your child before starting School.

We will notify you as soon as we can regarding transition visits to the school. Of course, this will be inline with our risk assessment policy and when the Government hopes to be in a position to remove all legal limits on social contact.

We are looking forward to seeing you all very soon.
